Description
Bolkesjø Gaard tilbyr eksklusiv skogsfugljakt i et flott og lett tilgjengelig terreng på 7.500 mål. Terrenget strekker seg fra ca. 200 til 700 moh. og består hovedsakelig av furuskog, med enkelte partier av granskog. Området har en god bestand av skogsfugl og er relativt lett å bevege seg i.
Jakten leies ut første uken av fuglejakta, og inkluderer overnatting på Stulen (seter). Det er bilvei helt frem til seteren, samt flere skogsbilveier i terrenget som gjør forflytning enkel og effektiv under jakta. Ankomst kvelden før jaktstart med informasjon og kaffe prat med lokalkjent person.

About the terrain
Bolkesjø Gaard is situated in a varied and beautiful forest terrain, just 1.5 hours from Oslo. The area stretches from Follsjø up to the border between Telemark and Buskerud, ranging between 400 and 800 meters above sea level. The landscape consists of spruce and pine forests, open marshlands, historic trails, and numerous quiet lakes and ponds. There is a rich abundance of wildlife here, including moose, red deer, and roe deer, as well as woodland birds, hares, and small game throughout the area. The many lakes also provide excellent opportunities for fishing, both with and without a boat.

Stulen
Stulen is idyllically situated deep in the forest, offering great views! The area features beautiful nature, charming lakes, and fine hiking trails. There is a high chance you will have the area entirely to yourself.
Stulen, or the summer farm as it is called elsewhere, consists of a main cabin and an outbuilding. In the cabin, there is a living room with a wood-burning stove, dining area, and lounge chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a propane refrigerator and hobs. The bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, one of which has a double bottom bunk. There is a fire pit in the outside courtyard.
There is a simple solar panel system, used only for lighting and not for charging phones, etc. The outbuilding contains firewood, a grill, outdoor furniture, and an outhouse. There is no running water in the cabin; we provide drinking water, and water for washing can be collected from the stream. Should guests require a shower, they can use the new bathroom in the barn at Jonrud.
