For experienced hunting parties seeking large, contiguous territories in mountain terrain, this area in Jämtland offers a unique opportunity for moose hunting in the magnificent Swedish wilderness. Here, the hunting party conducts the hunt independently with their own dogs and their own responsibility.

The terrain is characterized by mountain-proximate forests, open marshes, and high elevations that are very well suited for baying dog hunting. The open sections also provide good opportunities for scouting with binoculars and strategic hunting over long distances.

In addition to the moose hunt, there is an opportunity for bear hunting if a quota remains from the area's shared allocation. In this area, there have typically been bears left on the license well into October in previous years. Small game hunting and fishing are also included in the offer, providing access to a wide range of nature experiences during your stay.

This is an offer for hunting parties that appreciate independence, dog work, and authentic mountain hunting in an area with strong traditions and high natural value.

• The hunting lease covers 6 consecutive hunting days; September 1-6, 2026
• During these days, the only other hunting is for ptarmigan on September 6th up on the high mountains; otherwise, there is no other hunting on the properties.
• Small game hunting is included during your hunting week (max 4 ptarmigan/day/hunter and 2 forest birds/day/hunter)
• Moose allocation: 2 adults (one cow, one bull) and 1 calf
• Only shoot one moose at a time at the same stand (1 moose at a time)
• The lease includes the right to use the cabin in Sösjöviken during the period of the lease. The cabin may be used 1 evening/day before and 1 day after the hunting period.
• The lease includes the right to subsistence fishing (including net fishing) in Torrön during the lease period. You must bring your own fishing equipment for this. A boat is available to borrow.
• The lease covers the state kill-fees paid by the landowners for the moose that are shot.
• The lease includes the requirement for the hunting party to appoint a hunt leader and an individual responsible for the hunt for the duration of the lease.
• Opportunity to shoot bear exists if any remain on the license, provided that a tracking dog is available and that the shooters have passed the "Björnpasset" (bear shooting test). Kill fee for bear: 5,000 SEK + VAT
• Opportunity to sell the moose to a local game butchery

• After each hunting day as specified above, the number of moose shot, gender, carcass weight, and where the moose was shot (stand no.) must be reported to Joy Event.
• xxx is responsible for ensuring the moose hunt is conducted according to current regulations and that a tracking dog is available.
• Motorized off-road vehicles may only be driven in the terrain to retrieve moose that have already been shot.
• No limit on the number of people, suitable for 10-14 hunters. Accommodation is included for 8 people. Beyond this, a cabin with 6 beds can be rented for 5,000 SEK/week
