For experienced hunting parties seeking large, contiguous territories in mountain terrain, this area in Jämtland offers a unique opportunity for moose hunting in the magnificent Swedish wilderness. Here, the hunting party conducts the hunt independently with their own dogs and their own responsibility.

The terrain is characterized by subalpine forests, open mires, and high elevations that are very well-suited for hunting with baying dogs. The open sections also provide good opportunities for glassing and strategic hunting over long distances.

In addition to moose hunting, there is the possibility of bear hunting if there is remaining quota on the area's collective license. In this area, there are usually bears left on the license well into October based on previous years. The offer also includes small game hunting and fishing, providing access to a wide range of nature experiences during the stay.

This is an offer for hunting parties that appreciate independence, dog work, and authentic mountain hunting in an area with strong traditions and high natural value.

• The hunting lease covers 6 consecutive hunting days; September 1-6, 2027.
• During these days, ptarmigan hunting only occurs on September 6th up on the high mountains; otherwise, no other hunting takes place on the properties.
• Small game hunting is included during your hunting week (max 4 ptarmigan/day/hunter and 2 forest birds/day/hunter).
• Moose quota: 2 adults (one cow, one bull) and 1 calf.
• Only shoot one moose at a time at the same stand (1 moose at a time).
• The lease includes the right to use the cabin in Sösjöviken during the period of the lease. The cabin can be used 1 evening/day before and 1 day after the hunting period.
• The lease includes the right to subsistence fishing (including net fishing) in Torrön during the period of the lease. You must bring your own fishing equipment for this. A boat is available to borrow.
• The lease includes the landowners paying the state kill fee for the moose that are shot.
• The lease includes the hunting party appointing a hunt leader and a person responsible for the hunt for the duration of the lease.
• There is the possibility to shoot bear if there is remaining quota on the license, provided that a tracking dog is available and that the shooters have passed the "bear test" (björnpasset). Kill fee for bear: 5,000 SEK + VAT.
• There is an opportunity to sell the moose to a local wild game butchery.

Miscellaneous:

• After each hunting day as specified above, the number of moose shot, gender, carcass weight, and where the moose was shot (stand no.) must be reported to Joy Event.
• xxx is responsible for ensuring the moose hunt is conducted according to current regulations and that a tracking dog is available.
• Motorized off-road vehicles may only be driven in the terrain to retrieve already shot moose.
• No limit on number of participants, suitable for 10-14 hunters. Accommodation is included for 8 people. Beyond this, a cabin with 6 beds can be rented for 5,000 SEK/week.
