Description
Utmarkscompagniet (del av Albert Collett) tilbyr tilrettelagt elgjakt med løshund og erfarne guider, med base på Øvre Strømmen gård i Salen. Å smyge seg innpå elg som er opptatt av hunden regnes av mange som den mest spennende jaktformen. Jakten er krevende, men opplegget er lagt til rette for at både erfarne og mindre erfarne jegere skal få gode opplevelser.
Opplegget: • Guider med hunder gir grunnlag for inntil to ekvipasjer på jakt med løshund • Egnet for grupper på opptil fire jegere • Én okse per jeger, samt ubegrenset kvote på ungdyr (kalv og 1,5-åring) • Ankomst torsdag kveld, jakt fredag–søndag • Mulighet for transport fra Namsos lufthavn (stor bil tilgjengelig) • Store jaktområder, godt egnet for løshundjakt • Utmarkscompagniet håndterer uttransport og flåing av felt vilt • Slakt beholdes av Utmarkscompagniet • Ingen troféavgift

Terreng: • Jakten vil ta utgangpunkt i et terreng på flere hundre tusen mål der det ikke foregår annen storviltjakt i samme tidsrom • Terrenget er godt egnet for jakt med løshund på grunn av naturlige avgrensinger som fjell, vann og elver
Øvre Strømmen Gård: • Sentralt plassert i jaktterrenget • 4 soverom, felles bad • Innlagt strøm og vann • Gode tørkemuligheter i fjøset
About the terrain
UtmarksCompagniet is a continuation of the long tradition of providing hunting, fishing, and outdoor experiences from the former Bangdalsbruget – Firma Albert Collett. The estate welcomed its first international hunters and anglers as early as the 1880s.
UtmarksCompagniet offers a variety of hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation products, and we do our utmost to ensure you take home wonderful holiday memories.
For more than 100 years, Salen has been renowned for exciting moose hunting in Trøndelag. Some of the largest moose trophies in Norway originate from this specific area.
In parts of the territory, there is also a healthy population of roe deer, offering exciting opportunities for stalking or hunting with slow-driving baying hounds. For interested hunters, various levels of service are offered—ranging from self-service arrangements to fully catered stays including guiding, high-standard dining, and accommodation.
We also offer small game hunting in our areas, including grouse, forest birds, hare, and roe deer across 27 different hunting grounds in Salen, Trøndelag.

Øvre Strømmen Farm
Øvre Strømmen Farm – with diverse fishing opportunities Øvre Strømmen Farm is located close to Salsvatn and Skrøvstadvatn. Those who have visited Straumen will never forget it, and most wish to return.
Here you can relax and enjoy nature in peace and quiet. There is nothing like sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee early in the morning, enjoying the silence and the view over Straumtjønna. The farm Øvre Strømmen is located at the inner end of Salsvatn and is easily accessible by car.
The farm is perfect for those who value varied fishing opportunities and comfortable living standards while maintaining easy access to a local shop. There are opportunities for salmon fishing and freshwater fishing, and you also have the chance to fish for saltwater species in the Opløfjord. The hiking opportunities in the surrounding nature are excellent.
The accommodation has 8 (+2) beds distributed across 4 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and WC, as well as an extra separate WC. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a dishwasher and microwave.
