Description
Roe deer buck hunting during the prime first period in beautiful surroundings at Bolkesjø Gard. Hunt in a vast and exciting forest terrain of 7,400 decares (1,800+ acres), located 1.5 hours from Oslo, entirely without other hunters. Hunting in fields and cultivated land is not permitted due to residential buildings and livestock.
A quota of one buck is included, with the possibility of an additional animal by prior agreement. Suitable for 1-2 hunters.
Accommodation in a log cabin at Stulen is included. Stulen is located at the end of a private gated road, providing exclusive access to the forest. Arrival is on August 9th, ensuring you are ready for the hunt start on August 10th.
A local tracking dog agreement (for wounded game) is available if needed; in such cases, a deposit is paid upon arrival and refunded upon departure if the service was not utilized.

About the terrain
Bolkesjø Gaard is situated in a varied and beautiful forest terrain, just 1.5 hours from Oslo. The area stretches from Follsjø up to the border between Telemark and Buskerud, ranging between 400 and 800 meters above sea level. The landscape consists of spruce and pine forests, open marshlands, historic trails, and numerous quiet lakes and ponds. There is a rich abundance of wildlife here, including moose, red deer, and roe deer, as well as woodland birds, hares, and small game throughout the area. The many lakes also provide excellent opportunities for fishing, both with and without a boat.

Stulen
Stulen is idyllically situated deep in the forest, offering great views! The area features beautiful nature, charming lakes, and fine hiking trails. There is a high chance you will have the area entirely to yourself.
Stulen, or the summer farm as it is called elsewhere, consists of a main cabin and an outbuilding. In the cabin, there is a living room with a wood-burning stove, dining area, and lounge chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a propane refrigerator and hobs. The bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, one of which has a double bottom bunk. There is a fire pit in the outside courtyard.
There is a simple solar panel system, used only for lighting and not for charging phones, etc. The outbuilding contains firewood, a grill, outdoor furniture, and an outhouse. There is no running water in the cabin; we provide drinking water, and water for washing can be collected from the stream. Should guests require a shower, they can use the new bathroom in the barn at Jonrud.
